Prefects

Prefects are active in leadership in all aspects of school life – they lead the competitive Houses, organise the School Council and are the driving force for charity fundraising in the school. Generations of prefects uphold the traditions of the school during St Kate’s Day and epitomise all that it is to be a Helkat. The Prefect team are elected by their peers and teachers and then selected from that list by interview with the Senior Management Team. They in turn elect the Head Girl and Deputies.
